Most people who go to court without a lawyer are not there by choice. They are there because attorneys are scarce, expensive, or unavailable in their language or their county. Our aim is narrow on purpose: help self-represented people understand what is happening, organize what they have, and take the next procedural step with some confidence.
We are a private company, not a non-profit. We do not sell your data. We do not advertise inside the workspace. We charge a subscription and a per-document fee for preparing filings, both at prices you see before you commit.
We are emphatically not a law firm. Under every state's rules on the unauthorized practice of law, only a licensed attorney can give you legal advice about your specific case. This platform translates, organizes, and prepares; it does not counsel you. Every explanation is educational. Every document is a starting point that you own, edit, and sign. Where a decision needs legal judgment, the platform stops and points you to a licensed attorney or your court's self-help center.
Those limits are built into the product rather than written on a page and ignored. Every citation is checked against a real legal database before it appears in anything you read; if it cannot be confirmed, it is left out rather than invented. Facts we do not have are flagged for you, never filled in. That is a slower product than one willing to guess, and it is the only version of this worth building.
